Latest Update Regarding Corona Virus in Indonesia (02 October 2020)

Corona Update – The government has again updated the data on the number of positive corona cases in Indonesia. Quoted from the kemenkes.go.id site, until Thursday (1/10), corona cases in Indonesia jumped by 4,174 people.

With an increase of this size, the total number of corona positives cases in Indonesia is 291,182. This data was obtained from 43,592 specimen tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, corona positive patients who died rose by 116. With this addition, the total number of patients who died is 10,856 people, compared to the previous day which was 10,740. Furthermore, the number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 increased by 3,540. With this number, the total number of patients who recovered from corona was 218,487, compared to the previous day which was 214,947 people.

Quoted by Worldometers, Indonesia is the 23rd country with the highest positive corona cases in the world. For the Southeast Asia region, Indonesia is below the Philippines, which has reached 300 thousand positive people infected with COVID-19.
