Latest Update Regarding Corona Virus in Indonesia (16 October 2020)

The number of corona virus cases in Indonesia is still a concern. As of Thursday (15/10/2020) positive cases reached 349,160 people. This number is due to the additional cases 4,411 people. As quoted from Covid19.go.id.

For patients recovered from the corona virus, there were an addition of 5,810 people. With a total number of 273,661 people or around 77.7%. Meanwhile, the number of deaths has increased by 112 people. When added to the total, the number of deaths has reached 12,268. Analyzing the graph, DKI Jakarta is the area with the highest cases in Indonesia, followed by East Java, Central Java, South Sulawesi, and West Java.

Jakarta itself has now entered the Transitional PSBB. Where the government has begun to loosen its policies on activities. However, the pandemic is not over yet hence we must still have to be vigilant in our activities by keeping our distance and implementing health protocols.
