Latest Update Regarding The Corona Virus in Indonesia (23 April 2021)

The Ministry of Health updates daily data on COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. As of Thursday (22/4), there were an additional 6,243 positive cases of the coronavirus.

With these additions, the number of positive corona cases in Indonesia has become 1,626,812 cases. The addition of positive cases was obtained from examining 78,593 specimens.

While the patients recovered, today was also an increase of 5,993 people. Thus, the total number of patients who recovered from the corona virus was 1,481,449 people. For data on patients who died, there were an additional 165 people. Thus, the total number of patients who died from COVID-19 was 44,172 people. The Ministry of Health noted that as of today there are 101,191 active cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia, or an increase of 85 people.

In Indonesia, half of the patients (data until April 22, 2021) are male. (male: 49.82%, female: 50.18%, unannounced 0.00%)
