Latest Update Regarding Corona Virus in Indonesia (7 May 2021)

The Ministry of Health updates the daily data on COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. As of Thursday (6/5), there were 5,647 additional positive cases of corona.

With this addition, the number of positive cases of corona in Indonesia adds to 1,697,305 cases. The addition of positive cases was obtained from the examination of 76,273 specimens.

While patients recovered, there was an increase of 5,440 people. Thus, the total number of patients who have recovered from the corona virus is 1,552,532 people. For data on patients deaths, there were an additional 147 people. Thus, the total number of patients who died from COVID-19 was 46,496 people. The Ministry of Health noted that as of today, there are 98,277 active COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. An increase of 60 people from the previous day.
