Corona Virus Update in Indonesia (03 July 2020),

Positive cases of corona virus in Indonesia are still growing, accumulating to 59,394 cases. Meanwhile, around the world, the corona virus has infected more than 10.6 million people. According to the data, the addition of positive cases in Indonesia began to accelerate since June, fluctuating between 400 cases and more than 1,000 new cases per day.

The following is the curve of corona virus transmission in Indonesia based on data from the Ministry of Health

In the last two weeks, up to Thursday 25 June, the addition of positive cases in Jakarta has moved in the range of 80-200 cases per day. Positive cases in Jakarta, now there are more than 10,000 people.

As of Thursday (2/7) the addition of positive cases as many as 1,624 people, the addition of patients recovered to 1,072 people and cases of death increased to 53 people.

“Let it sink in that the addition of this case illustrates that discipline and compliance to implement health protocols are still not fully implemented properly,” said Yuri.

He explained that the form of non-compliance was that there were still people who were confirmed positive who had not carried out proper self-isolation, there were groups that were vulnerable to contracting COVID-19 who did not keep their distance, did not wear masks and did not wash their hands with soap.

He also urged the public to remind each other well, obey health protocols and always be vigilant wherever they are, especially in locations that are prone to transmission such as offices, traditional markets, stalls / restaurants / restaurants, and public transportation.

“Again, let’s work together together, we will overcome the spread of COVID-19, we certainly can,” he concluded.
