Groundbreaking of The Parc Apartment, Marks the Presence of Millennial Generation Coliving Residential Trend
PT. Setiawan Dwi Tunggal conducted a groundbreaking procession for The Parc – SouthCity apartment in the Pondok Cabe area, Tanggerang. Work on this foundation began in early July 2019, ahead of schedule. The Parc is the first exclusive vertical residence and the first coliving apartment in the 55 hectare SouthCity superblock area.
Armed with a long experience and more than 42 years in the world of construction and specialization in the field, PT. Indonesia Pondasi Raya (Indopora) Tbk was chosen as the special foundation contractor for The Parc Apartment. The plan is for SouthCity to build a low-rise 3 tower apartment with a height of 13 floors which will provide 1,701 apartment units on an area of 15,500 m2. Just as the handover of SouthCity Square last July was on time.
SouthCity Director Peony Tang believes the The Parc apartment project will also be completed and delivered according to schedule. “In less than one year from the launch period to the groundbreaking process, we want to show our commitment as a trusted developer to be able to carry out the handover process to consumers that is on target, namely the second quarter of 2022,” said Peony Tang.
Still targeting the millennial market share, The Parc Apartement provides various facilities in payment. After the success of the ‘Nabung DP’ program, The Parc Apartement now offers a very affordable installment promo of IDR 1.5 million per month without booking fees during the groundbreaking period.
Peony is optimistic that with the construction of The Parc apartment, the economic activity in Pondok Cabe will move again and become the target of investors in investing. This can be seen from the initiation of various infrastructure developments initiated by the government, especially in the South Jakarta area. Some of them are the construction of the Depok-Antasari toll road through the Andara and Brigif toll gates and the Cinere-Jagorawi toll road through the Cinere toll gate, as well as the construction of the Fatmawati and Lebak Bulus MRT lines. “Pondok Cabe is now increasingly being considered an area with a very fast growing economy,” said Peony.
Peony is optimistic that The Parc’s presence as the first coliving residence in Indonesia will be a breath of fresh air for the trend of property growth in Indonesia, especially Jabodetabek. Moreover, the trend of coliving housing is one of the attractions for the millennial generation, which is the target market for SouthCity.
“The coliving concept that we offer is different from other residences. We provide opportunities for residents to communicate and collaborate, but still prioritizing comfort, The Parc is a residence designed to support a better life. It’s an idea from an existing idea, designed for the needs of millennials who tend to value openness, collaboration, social networks and business, “said Peony.
In line with Peony, SouthCity Associate Director, Stevie Faverius Jaya has high hopes for residential development in the Pondok Cabe area with the construction of The Parc Apartement. Moreover, transportation access is connected to various types of transportation, both private and public, which can connect residents to the city center of Jakarta and other cities around Jakarta, and the facilities provided also support the needs of residents who crave practicality and comfort.
“The most important thing that is offered to our customers is a living experience with a large and beautiful area, supported by a fully equipped superblock area. And we offer all of this at affordable prices and easy ways to pay for millennials”said Stevie.
Since being marketed in June 2018, The Parc has sold around 75 percent of the total 391 units in the first tower, Summer Tower. “We are targeting sales to reach 100 percent this year and then we will market the second tower,” concluded Stevie.
SouthCity (PT. Setiawan Dwi Tunggal) as an optimistic developer, the presence of this apartment project with an investment of up to 1 trillion can provide fresh air for investors and end users, especially the millennial generation who want housing according to their needs and lifestyle.
The Parc Apartment for the first tower, which is planned to start construction at the end of this year, provides 3 types, namely Studio (22.55 m2), 1 Bedroom (30.06-37.49 m2) and 2 Bedroom (46.60 m2). Currently, The Parc is priced at promo and affordable prices starting from IDR 357 million to IDR 731 million per unit. Tower 1 construction is targeted to be completed by the end of this year.
