The Property Industry Is Believed To Be More Prospective In 2020

The national property market in 2020 is predicted to be more positive. In general, the Indonesian property market in 2020 will not be affected by national political conditions because it is entering the market recovery phase.

Although still overshadowed by global economic uncertainty, positive sentiment from housing demand in recent times has begun to appear. Seeing this condition, Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) Managing Partner of Strategic Advisory, Tommy Bastamy stated that the property market will grow positively during 2020.

“The formation of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet under the leadership of Joko Widodo-Ma’aruf Amin has the potential to bring fresh air to the domestic property market. In the next year, the growth of the property sector in a number of cities will continue to grow, ”he said in an official statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/12/2019).

Seeing this optimism, PT Setiawan Dwi Tunggal (SouthCity), the developer of SouthCity, is preparing to market Phase II of The Parc apartment at the beginning of next year. SouthCity Director Peony Tang said that her party is optimistic that the second phase of sales will gain success like the first phase. “In the first stage, namely the Summer tower, currently 85% has been sold, the second stage, with positive market predictions, we are optimistic that it will sell equally well,” he said.

Peony said that her party is still targeting millennials as the target market for The Parc apartments. In addition to the coliving concept, ease of payment is also an effort to attract millennial generation buyers who are looking for affordable housing, adequate transportation access with complete and modern facilities.

In fact, her party is currently providing an installment program starting from IDR 88,000 per day. “The installments are almost the same as the cost of drinking coffee in a cafe, a home that is worth a cup of coffee,” said Peony.

The first co-living apartment in Indonesia entered the development stage last July and is planned to be handed over in the fourth quarter of 2022. The Parc apartment has a co-living concept that allows residents to socialize and collaborate with each other.

According to Peony, some of the facilities at The Parc apartment are different from other residences, one of which is public facilities with an area of almost 1 hectare, recreational land and coworking space and free WiFi. The Parc is the first apartment in the SouthCity Superblock area developed by PT Setiawan Dwi Tunggal (SouthCity).

This 57-hectare integrated development area consists of a new residential area for landed house Fortunia Residences, residential apartments, retail areas, commercial areas, shopping malls, offices, hotels in Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang.
